BFC Fencers Have Strong Finishes at Charm City

 Congratulations to all of the BFC fencers who competed in the Charm City Classic ROC held at UMBC November 7th and 8th.  Nine fencers did a fantastic job of representing BFC in men's and women's foil and epee.  The weekend started off with extremely strong performances in foil.  Duncan Rheingans-Yoo finished second in the Men's Foil of a field 43 while Derek Chu and and Shenzhi Shi finished 19th and 29th respectively.
            In Women's Foil, Karina Wang earned gold and shared the podium with Sophia Mandour who finished second in the field of 27.  Zoe Barnette and Stephanie Turner finished in the top 16 with respective 13th and 14th place finishes.  Epee was also represented well on Sunday with a 5th place podium finish for Yixuan Pei in a field of 60 in Men's Epee and a 3rd place finish for Marie Lawson in Women's Epee with a field of 32.  Congratulations to all of these BFC fencers and best of luck for more great results in the future.
